Sandy Toes & Eco Goals: Join the Palawan Island Adventures!
Hey there! Ever wonder how four friends from different corners of the world – two Texans, a Brit, and a Filipino – ended up building a boutique glamping resort in one of the most beautiful yet challenging places on Earth? Well, grab a coffee (or better yet, a coconut), and let us tell you the story of Binga Beach Brothers.
Back in 2017, what started as a casual travel adventure turned into something none of us could have predicted. We've always joked that it was the island choosing us rather than the other way around. While most tourists stick to the well-trodden paths of El Nido and Coron, we found ourselves drawn to the raw, untouched beauty of Palawan's lesser-known corners. One wrong turn led us to what would become Binga Beach, and like all great love stories, we never really looked back.
Here's the thing about Palawan – it's not just about pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters (though trust us, there's plenty of that). It's about understanding and respecting a complex ecosystem of land rights, environmental protection, and community relationships. As four friends from vastly different backgrounds, we brought unique perspectives to the table. Our Filipino partner became our cultural bridge, helping us navigate local customs and build meaningful community relationships. Our British mate's environmental background proved invaluable in understanding and working with Palawan's strict ecological guidelines. And us Texans? Well, let's just say we brought that can-do spirit and learned to merge it with the island's more laid-back pace.
Building Binga Beach Brothers wasn't just about finding the perfect spot – it was about learning to work within Palawan's unique land classification system, understanding environmental regulations, and most importantly, becoming part of the local community. We spent countless hours with government agencies, environmental specialists, and local leaders. Every step taught us something new about this paradise we now call home.
What makes our story different? Maybe it's how we approached building our resort. Instead of trying to impose our vision on the land, we let the land shape our vision. We learned to work with the environment rather than against it. Our glamping concept wasn't just a trendy choice – it was born from our desire to tread lightly on this precious ecosystem while offering guests an authentic connection with nature.
Through this website, we want to share more than just our business journey. This is our personal story of falling in love with Palawan, of learning its ways, and of building something that honors both its natural beauty and its people. Whether you're a curious traveler, a potential investor, or someone who just loves a good tale of adventure, we invite you to explore our experiences, insights, and the lessons we've learned along the way.
You'll find stories about navigating land laws (trust us, it's more interesting than it sounds), building relationships with local communities, and discovering hidden gems across the island. We'll share our triumphs, our mistakes (there were plenty), and everything we've learned about creating a sustainable paradise in one of the world's last ecological frontiers.
This isn't just a business for us – it's a passion project born from four friends' shared dream of creating something special while preserving what makes Palawan truly magical. Through our boutique glamping resort, we're not just offering a place to stay; we're inviting guests to experience the Palawan that captured our hearts: raw, authentic, and absolutely unforgettable.
So whether you're dreaming of your own island adventure, curious about sustainable development in paradise, or just want to know how four guys from different parts of the world ended up building a glamping resort in the Philippines, you're in the right place. Welcome to our journey, our home, and our little slice of paradise.
Come explore with us – the coconuts are always fresh, the stories are always real, and the adventure? Well, that's just beginning.

What is the condition of the roads leading to Binga Beach Glamping?
The Local Government Unit (LGU) is actively working on enhancing the roads leading to Binga Beach Glamping. The project, which involves cementing the road stretch from Alimanguan to Brgy Binga, is currently about 50% complete. During the rainy season, we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle, as some clay roads may present challenges.
