Sandy Toes & Eco Goals: Join the Palawan Island Adventures!
Hi, I’m David Le!
Imagine a Vietnamese-American raised in Texas who somehow ends up building a glamping resort on a secluded beach on Palawan Island. Wild, right? Trust me, I didn’t see it coming either. But life has a funny way of steering you toward your destiny—mine just happened to involve two Texans (including yours truly), a Brit, a Filipino, and a dream to create something magical on Palawan Island.
This website is your backstage pass to my rollercoaster adventure of finding paradise, navigating environmental red tape, and building a boutique glamping resort while learning what it really means to live off-grid. From stumbling onto Lumambong Beach and falling head over flip-flops in love with Palawan to figuring out how to live sustainably—composting scraps instead of tossing them, mastering a 10kVA hybrid solar system, implementing satellite internet, and designing a low-footprint native glamping resort—I’m here to share the lessons, laughs, and left turns that got me here.
Whether you’re dreaming of your own tropical escape, curious about sustainable travel, or just here for the coconut-fueled storytelling, welcome to the ride!
Oh, and if you’re interested in investment opportunities in this hidden paradise, I’d love to connect and share how you can be part of our journey in creating something truly unique and sustainable on Palawan Island. Let’s build something amazing together!

What is the condition of the roads leading to Binga Beach Glamping?
The Local Government Unit (LGU) is actively working on enhancing the roads leading to Binga Beach Glamping. The project, which involves cementing the road stretch from Alimanguan to Brgy Binga, is currently about 50% complete. During the rainy season, we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle, as some clay roads may present challenges.
